- Wait for the status bar to confirm completion before unplugging the device.
Advanced Options
Tips:
- Please use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a desktop computer for Web Serial compatibility.
- Keep this tab open and leave the device connected until installation completes.
- If the browser cannot find the device, check if the USB cable is a data cable, re-seat the USB cable and confirm the camera remains in Setup Mode.
- Close other serial consoles before connecting.
- Approve any Web Serial permission prompts in Chrome/Edge; the tool requires serial access to flash.
Previous Firmware Versions
Download app-only binaries for TrailGuard portal updates, or install directly from the web browser. These packages flash only the application to preserve device settings and statistics. Please note that a complete installation (using the "Install The Latest TrailGuard Firmware" instructions above) is required for updates from versions 1.x or earlier.
